This is not good press for the NBA and does not paint a good picture for other NBA team owners. Our textbook states insider trading refers to buying or selling stocks based on nonpublic information likely to affect stock prices. I believe insider trading is unfair and Mark Cuban should be heavily punished for his actions.

Absolutely, this is horrible considering the officiating scancal the nba is still dealing with. I think the argument against insider trading from our book translates seamlessly into this nba situation.
